Hey, I'm Inksplash and this is a little about me.

I taught myself how to use Adobe programs as a teen and honed my skills enough to turn graphic design into an actual career. I have over 15 years experience as a designer working pre-press at several print shops over the years.

Besides my early career crafting logos and business cards, I also worked on and enjoyed illustration and design as an art form to express myself with.

What makes me a bit different from other designers is that I have a severe visual impairment caused by ocular albinism. My condition is called nystagmus, which causes my eyes to shake uncontrollably. Armed with a very large computer screen, a LOT of zooming, and a bit more time than others, I am able to design just as well as someone with full sight.

I recently discovered the world of crypto and NFTs and I have been absolutely obsessed since. Dipping my toe into the NFT waters with my debut series Algo Apes, I wasn’t expecting much to happen but within hours my first pieces sold. Within four days I sold my whole series which consisted of 10 original apes, 3 rares, and my legendary piece which I spent days on. It was one of the most amazing feelings watching people appreciate my artwork and it gave me such confidence in my personal art pieces which led me to the creation of the Algo Rams.

The team right now is just me, Inksplash, and my Husband. I do all of the concept design, illustration art, coloring, world building. My husband helps with the social media and community engagement as it strains my eyes, and he also helps with the business strategy, legal, tech and crypto related matters. He is also disabled, being deaf in one ear and therefore unable to have stereo or surround sound hearing. Between his lack of sound direction, and my disability severely limiting my depth perception, we actually make a great team.
